  • Accelerating treatment for retinal eye diseases

The Locsense Artemis MPS has found a new home! The Applied Stem Cell Technologies (AST) group at the University of Twente has installed the Locsense Artemis MPS. Under the leadership of Prof. Andries van der Meer and the expertise of Devin Veerman, the group will use this system to accelerate their research into retinal eye diseases and ocular treatments.Devin Veerman has developed a model of the retina by using organ-on-chip technology. Through high-precision barrier integrity measurements, the AST group is gaining deeper, real-time insights into various retinal diseases and potential new treatments.Special thanks to Devin Veerman and Andries van der Meer, for your trust and partnership.
