The Artemis is standard equiped with a smartlid compatible with your preferred transwell plate brand and number of wells. It is possible to obtain additional smartlids to perform experiments with other types of transwell plates. Each smartlid consists of a place holder for the transwell plate with inserts and a lid that supports the sensor plate. The sensor plate is removable for easy cleaning and replacement. Both the sensor plate and the plate holder are compatible with the autoclave.

Yes, the transwell plates can be placed inside the Artemis plate holder. The device can automatically read-out the entire plate by performing TEER and impedance spectroscopy measurements on all wells.
