Great news from Germany: our Locsense Artemis is now operational at the Leibniz-Institut für Alternsforschung – Fritz-Lipmann-Institut e.V. (FLI) in Jena.
The FLI focusses on understanding the complex processes of aging and we are pleased that the Artemis will support their vital work. The system is deployed for high-precision monitoring of cell-junction quality in human intestinal cells, supporting an advanced screening platform to identify drugs that strengthen intestinal barrier function during aging.
Maria Ermolaeva’s group focuses on developing novel interventions to combat age-associated functional decline. Prerana Chaudhari and Nilay Köse-Vogel are developing natural compound derivatives against gut barrier dysfunction by targeting its root cause, a first-in-class therapeutic for leaky-gut!
